The BMW 3 Series sedan has long been a strong contender for Cape Cod drivers seeking a compact luxury sedan. In 2026, BMW leaves the 3 Series sedan unchanged. This model is still available in two trim options. These include the 330i and the M340i.

If you opt for the 2026 BMW 3 Series 330i, your sedan will be powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder gas engine. This system comes with rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. It produces 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The M340i features a mild-hybrid, turbocharged six-cylinder engine, paired with the same drivetrain and transmission. This unit offers 386 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. The xDrive all-wheel drive system is offered as an option for both trim levels.

The 2026 3 Series retains the classic styling of the 2025 version. The sophisticated look shows off an elegant flow across the well-defined hood and rounded roof. The sides are expressive with sweeping contouring from front to rear. At the front, the C-shaped LED elements in the headlights have sharp corners. The headlights angle from the side of the short grille. The bumper is bold with defined corners and large air inlets on the flanks. The 3 Series 330i comes with exterior features like 18-inch wheels and a sunroof. The M340i features aerodynamic enhancements, a rear spoiler, blue calipers, a power-operated trunk, and an upgraded grille design. Options include 19-inch wheels, all-season tires, run-flat tires, and red calipers.

If you select the 2026 3 Series 330i, your sedan will come with a Digital Key, ambient cabin lights, synthetic leather seats, heated front seats, a three-zone climate control system, a curved 12.3-inch driver information screen, a 14.9-inch infotainment system screen, a wireless device charger, forward collision mitigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, and others. The higher trim level adds a lane departure warning, a rear cross-traffic alert, a blind spot warning, and parking sensors at the front and rear.
